Your appointment will begin with a thorough consultation to discuss the size, shape, color and technique that will be best suitable to achieve the desired look. Please bring any photos that could be used as a reference.
We will then apply a numbing solution to your skin and while you sit for 20-30 minutes, we’ll discuss and fill out paperwork and take ‘before’ photos.
Next we will map and outline the desired shape of the brows according to your facial symmetry. You will be given the opportunity to approve the shape before we continue. Then I will tweeze/trim any hairs that fall outside the outlined guide.
As we begin the process, you may be able to feel the first set of hair strokes. As the numbing solution goes into effect, these sensations will pass. Although I cannot guarantee you will not feel any discomfort throughout the procedure.
Once the service is completed, I will clean the area and take 'After' photos. Then we will arrange for your 6 week touch up appointment.
Immediately following your appointment your brows may produce a clear fluid. This is simply plasma accumulating from the trauma to your skin. You will be sent home with some cotton rounds to dab (DO NOT WIPE) the area. The skin around the brows will appear red and tender and throughout the day they’ll begin to look darker as the color develops beneath the skin. Keep in mind your eyebrows can look up to 40% darker and 10-15% thicker during the first 3-5 days of healing.
Days 4-5 the skin around the brows may begin to scab and flake. Do not pick at the loose skin. This could lead to loss of color and could cause them to heal patchy and uneven. Allow the flakes to shed naturally. This stage in the healing process could cause your eyebrows to appear darker and more intense. This is all normal.
Day 10-14 following the shedding phase, your eyebrows will appear as though they've completely faded. This is all apart of the healing process. The color will return progressively throughout the next 2 weeks.
Once the brows are fully healed, you'll be able to see how your skin took to the pigment. On many occasions, there may be small gaps that we can address during your touch-up appointment. We will evaluate how you healed and make any necessary adjustments to the shape and/or color.
The best way to clean your brows following your procedure:
Use cotton rounds or cotton swabs every 30 mins for the next 4 hours by gently dabbing at any accumulation of fluids.
During healing you MUST avoid:
